About Me...
Why Coaching, Why Now?
After ~25 years in amazing arts management jobs working for amazing organizations, I felt a strong need to *change* (scary word!), to stretch my legs, and simply put - to "do something different" - but what?
I had spent 19 of those years in the same (amazing) organization, The Juilliard School, and you can believe it was difficult thinking about leaving that family and comfort zone where I had grown and accomplished so much.
It took some real mid-life career soul-searching...
What is important to me? What are common denominators in my interests and skills?
What parts of my job(s) make me really smile when looking back?
Fortunately, I discovered more about coaching during this process and by working with a couple of great career coaches. I quickly realized that my work would always need to include "helping" people and organizations, facilitating discussions and thought around planning & managing change, with a healthy balance of autonomy and collaboration. And to feel more nourished and fulfilled, to re-ignite my own growing and learning!
I am extremely grateful for my first career in the arts,
and am thrilled to parlay my experiences and training to collaborate with and support individuals, groups, and organizations in their own navigation through change, decision making, goal setting.
